I came up with the idea of putting the American Flag in the "Diamond Cutter" hands about a week ago. It just popped into my head.... one of those moments of inspiration that come from time to time. A day or two later I found out that Dallas was going to a fund raiser for Sgt. Christopher Simpson who was killed in Iraq and was a huge DDP fan. His parents had contacted Dallas and after sending emails back and forth they became friends. I had the design put on a shirt and sent it out to Dallas so he could wear it to the event. Dallas is HUGE intro the tropps, and America. Unfortunately it didn't make it on time, but he still loved the design and had some thoughts to add it to a new shirt, this is what we came up with:
Dallas came up with another idea, doing another shirt for charity with all proceeds going to the Sgt. Christopher Simpson fund. After sending ideas back and forth this is what we came up with:

All in all, this is one of the coolest projects I've been a part of. Doing something for charity and having it pay off is a great thing. Sgt. Simpson has a great family and I hope that this little bit ends up helping them.
