Updates

I was recently able to do some updates on Rob's site.. and ended up upgrading the graphics while I was there. I have to say that I'm pretty lucky to have some wonderful clients. Now that I think about it I'm surrounded by great people.. it's a great thing. Even with the economy being the way that it is.. life is good!

Dibble

I'm really, really happy with this one. It took me a lot of time to figure out what direction to take this.. but after a lot of brain damage and thought, here's what I came up with. Luckily Rob and Jonna love it.. WHEW!!

I've been busy..

I've started on several new sites recently:

There is Group900.com:

And finally, Dibblebaseball.com

All of these are still works in progress.. it's been challenging but a lot of fun to work on each of them!

Another new site!

I've been pretty busy lately, and I love the people that I'm working with. I'm slowly building up a really nice network of people. This site is part of that network, and I was able to get a good start on it a few days ago.
The site is GreatDrills.com

Work, work, work

A few designs I did for a presenation a few weeks ago for Nissan. It was a pretty big deal, and I'm really happy with how the covers came out! I would love to post the insides as well, but that's a little bit too much information:)

New additions

I originally had Rob's bio on the front of his site. He dropped me an email the other day and said that he wanted to have the categories as images instead... he wanted them to be colorful and "pop".  I love creative challenges, and having clients that allow me to experiement and play around really helps. After going in another direction for a few hours I happened upon the idea of baseball cards and found some great source material on google's image search. I found 6 completely different baseball card designs and used those to create the different categories.. I was really happy with the result!

New Site!

I'm really excited about starting a new site.. then again I always am. The new one I'm starting is for Rob Dibble. I've talked to him and his wife, both are great people. Last night I put together a few very quick logo designs that could go on the site.. these where REALLY quick and dirty... hopefully when they are done it'll look a hell of a lot better!

Layout Evolution

It's kind of cool how a layout starts from one thing and evolves into another, at least for me. Talking to DDP, he wanted to launch all his sites (originally 4) from the same page. So.. I had to come up a design to do that with.

After some back and forth, this is the first version that I came up with:

The YRG image in the middle was a place holder until I got something better. The design went over pretty well though. After a while, the hands in the background and the words where removed because they made it too busy, and a new center picture was taken and sent over to me:

With all that stuff going on it got too busy, so we went back to the drawing board (DDP is GREAT at this stuff, he knows what he wants but he's willing to be flexible).
After playing with it, I came up with Version 6:

I'll post the final version as soon as it's accepted!
